Digital Account Manager

You'll assume responsibility for growing ActivelyOutdoors' paid and owned media services which includes social and digital advertising through to content partnerships and event sponsorship across our specialist markets of cycling, outdoors, adventure travel and wildlife observation.

So, what will I actually be doing?
Managing some Key Accounts
Identifying, growing and managing a pipeline of potential clients
Being pro-active with a mobile phone, email and Linkedin / other social networks
Learning and dealing with all aspects of a sales cycle
Managing clients expectations and building strong relationships
Building a 'territory'
Achieving sales targets
Delivering sales presentations to marketing executives / managers
Attending client meetings face-to-face when called for or arranging and hosting video calls
Completing administrative work, as required

The finer details
Your working day will not typically include longer hours than the usual 9-5 and weekend working is rare. You will be home-based but will also travel to meet clients when necessary. A degree is not necessary for this role, but common sense is. All applications will be considered based on passion for the role, clients, company and ability to learn quickly. A pro-active personality and can-do attitude is also a key requirement.
There will be training given as part of your on-going development but you will need the following fundamental skills:
Good spoken and written communication skills
Good presentation and negotiation skills
Confidence and tact
Good organisational and time management skills
A professional manner
Good common sense and the ability to work to budgets and targets
